Launched in 1984 when thin quartz watches were in style, Breitling took a risk with a larger mechanical watch. Based on the Frecce Tricolori chronograph created with the Italian aerial squadron in 1983, the Chronomat commemorates Breitling's centenary and brings back the mechanical chronograph to its well-deserved place at the forefront of the brand's reputation. Available in various materials, from stainless steel to luxurious 18k red gold, the Chronomat features a 42mm case and the iconic bezel with four rider t abs. With multiple colorful dial options, the Chronomat comes with the signature "Rouleaux" bracelet in metal or rubber and is power ed by the in-house Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer.
