About Glashutte Original History

Glashütte Original

In the middle of the 19th century, in a little valley only 30 kilometers from the Saxon capital Dresden, a unique success story began. Glashütte Original is descended from this tradition of precise, refined craftsmanship, and continues to write the story of the German art of watchmaking to this day. Timepieces from Glashütte Original are the perfect expression of German engineering and artisanship and represent a unique synthesis of technical sophistication, reliable precision and timeless design.
