The original Ingenieur watch was created in 1955, but it was during the 1970s that the name truly bec ame synonymous with the renowned watch designer, Gérald Genta. His Ingenieur SL, Reference 1832, embodies his artistic vision of a l uxury stainless steel sports watch with an integrated bracelet. Paying homage to Genta's iconic design, the Ingenieur Automatic 40 d isplays bold aesthetics while meeting high standards of ergonomics, craftsmanship, and technology. The stainless steel case, bezel, and integrated H-link bracelet with butterfly folding clasp all boast a meticulously polished and satin-finished design. Every aspec t of the case and bracelet has been carefully reworked and enhanced for optimal wear, even on slimmer wrists. The quintessential rou nd bezel is secured with five polygonal screws. The elegant "Aqua" dial features the recognizable "Grid" structure of intersecting l ines. Luminescent rhodium-plated hands and appliques ensure easy readability.
