The Grand Seiko Automatic GMT SBGM239 Limited Edition for HODINKEE features an attractive shade of twilight blue on the dial that was partially inspired by the daily transition from day to night – the hours that comprise dusk in English, or "Yūgure" in Japanese. A muted shade of grey is used for all aspects of the dial that pertain to the GMT functionality. We've also made subtle refinements to the text on the dial, and we've paired it all together with a three-link bracelet. The addition of a stainless steel bracelet makes an immediate difference in how the Grand Seiko Automatic GMT SBGM239 Limited Edition for HODINKEE wears on the wrist, bringing a whole new casual and sporty vibe to the watch. This is the first watch in the SBGM series – since Grand Seiko became its own independent brand in 2017 – to be available on a bracelet and to U.S.-based collectors.
