Ladies' watches, unfortunately, don’t get the attention they deserve.

It has seemingly been long assumed that women will be content with shoddily-designed timepieces devoid of soul, providing of course that they are pink and have loads of precious stones set on them. We know this to be nonsense - a lady’s watch shouldn't be any less considered than a man’s, and we seek out examples of watches done right, regardless of intended gender.

Take this Cle de Cartier for example. This example, a Reference 3867, features a beautiful cushion case shape, with its soft curves. This watch is anything but boring, and provides an incredible host of details to obsess over.

In spite of the unique design, this piece still preserves many of the details of classic Cartier we would hope to see: a Roman numeral and guilloché dial, blued steel hands, petite Cartier logo, blue sapphire crown (in this case, a unique shape), and more all serve as a reminder that this piece is backed by a name with an unrivaled history for fine jewelry making, and yes, watchmaking too.

This watch is powered by an automatic winding movement and dates to the 2010s. It is in excellent condition and awaits its next custodian’s wrist!
