The Chopard L.U.C XPS 1860 Officer Limited Edition For Hodinkee reflects everything Chopard does best. The stunning white gold case houses a silvery hunter-green dial with a custom guilloché dial engraved by hand using traditional rose engines by the renowned dial maker Metalem. Metalem is the same manufacturer that produced the original dials for the L.U.C 1860 in 1997 and dozens of other iconic dials, perhaps most notably the Philippe Dufour Simplicity. The white gold indices make for a balanced dial, and, for the first time in the 1860 line, Chopard removed the “12” numeral for a clean look. The color-matched date window at 6 o’clock completes the cohesive design.
