A bold fusion of haute horlogerie and science-fiction imagination, the HM12 The Guardian transforms the watch into the head of a mechanical companion. Developed entirely in-house by MB&F over four years, the 646-component movement features a flying tourbillon, instantaneous jumping hours, trailing minutes, and an intricate mechanical face-shield system composed of more than 200 components. Delivered alongside its robot counterpart—crafted in partnership with L’Epée 1839—The Guardian extends the experience beyond the wrist, creating a complete horological concept unlike anything before it. Limited to just 12 pieces each in blue, purple, and green, for a total of 36 pieces worldwide.
