In the De Ville line, introduced in 1960, Omega combined the water-resistant case of the Seamaster collection with high-grade movements often used in other references.

However, the cases of the De Ville line — in any metal — were thinner and more elegant than their sportier contemporaries. In such a way, elegance was not substituted for functionality, and the De Ville could be worn with a suit and not lose any of its water resistance. As time progressed, so too did the spec sheet of the average De Ville become more impressive, leading to a collection of handsome yet robust timepieces perfect for everyday wear.

The particular De Ville we have here is a modern incarnation from the 2020s boasting a simple, elegant design that can truly be dressed up or down with ease. Housed in a 33mm two tone case in yellow gold and stainless steel, this piece is fitted with a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, and a diamond-set bezel, it features a butterfly motif champagne dial with applied Roman and diamond indices, a ‘dauphine’ handset, and a date window at 3 o’clock.

Powering the watch is the Omega Calibre 4061 quartz movement.
