10-Day Returns For Timepieces:
Timepieces purchased online can be returned or exchanged within 10 days from when they are shipped or collected.
30-Day Returns For All Other Purchases:
All other online purchases can be returned or exchanged within 30 days from when they are shipped or collected.
On presentation of the original receipt, your purchases may be returned or exchanged at any of our store locations. Alternatively, you may elect shipping to our facility with all the original paperwork. All refunds must be credited to the same tender used for the original purchase. To return the online purchases through secure shipping service, please contact our client service team who will provide you the shipping label, free of cost*.
All returns or exchanges must be in new, unworn condition, with no scratches or markings, not sized or adjusted and in their original packaging and with warranty cards / certificated and instruction booklets.

Overall Condition: Excellent condition overall. Case is sharp with thick lugs and midcase. Only light case wear noted throughout. Dial and handset are also in great condition with light mark noted near handstem.
Long before "sector dial" became one of vintage watch collecting's favorite phrases, Longines was quietly perfecting the formula. During the 1930s and '40s, the manufacture produced some of the most beautifully proportioned time-only watches in Switzerland—pieces that relied not on ornament, but on balance, precision, and thoughtful design.
This stainless steel Calatrava Reference 4914 from the 1940s is a perfect example. Measuring an impressive 37mm—a genuinely oversized case for its era—it wears with a presence that feels remarkably contemporary. The silvered sector dial is a study in elegant restraint, defined by concentric tracks, elongated hour markers, oversized Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9, and a finely executed subsidiary seconds register. Slender blued steel baton hands provide crisp contrast against the monochromatic dial, while the stepped chapter rings create a subtle sense of depth that rewards a closer look.
Powering the watch is Longines' celebrated manually wound Calibre 12.68Z, one of the manufacture's most respected movements of the period, manually wound. Beautifully engineered, slim, and exceptionally reliable, it helped establish Longines as one of Switzerland's great movement makers during the golden age of mechanical watchmaking. Paired with a leather strap, the watch possesses the sort of understated elegance that rarely goes out of style.
Collectors rightly celebrate Longines for legendary chronographs like the 13ZN, but the brand's time-only watches deserve equal attention. References like this reveal a manufacture at the height of its powers, producing watches whose appeal rests entirely on proportion, craftsmanship, and timeless design. Eight decades later, this Reference 4914 feels less like a vintage curiosity than a blueprint for the modern dress watch—a reminder that the best designs never really need updating.
