The Rolex Certified Pre-Owned Sea-Dweller is presented in a 43mm yellow Rolesor case with an intense black dial. The black unidirectional rotating bezel graduated for 60 minutes ensures precise timing at a glance. Worn on an Oyster bracelet, it is driven by the automatic Calibre 3235.

Born in 1967 out of Rolex's work with saturation divers, the Sea-Dweller introduced the helium escape valve that lets the case survive decompression. It is waterproof to 1,220 meters.

Sea-Dweller

Presented in 1967, the Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller was created to accompany the pioneers of deep-sea diving. It is notably equipped with the helium escape valve, an innovation that has played a key role in underwater research since it first accompanied a new professional diving technique: saturation diving. Initially capable of descending to 610 metres (2,000 feet) deep, since 1978 the Sea-Dweller has been guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 1,220 metres (4,000 feet).
