While perhaps not as well-known as the Blancpain Fifty-Fathoms or the Rolex Submariner, the DOXA Sub series played an integral role in the development of the modern diver's watch. The first generation of the model, introduced in 1967, brought innovations we now take for granted — a unidirectional bezel with the US Navy's no-decompression dive timing marks engraved; an expanding bracelet; brightly colored, hi-legibility dials; and an oversized luminous minute hand to name but a few.

The DOXA 'Sharkhunter', though perhaps not as famous as its orange-dialed 'Professional' cousin, is among the most versatile of all the Sub colorways. But this is no ordinary vintage Sharkhunter. For avid SCUBA divers, it doesn't get much better than this!

Housed in a 43mm cushion case with a unidirectional bezel, a recessed crown, and a mineral crystal that sits flush against the inner bezel’s edge — a tell-tale characteristic of a 300T case — this incredible piece features a matte-black dial with

printed hour indices, an oversized minute hand, a 'dwarf' hour hand, and a date window at 3 o’clock. Beautifully patinated luminous material and well preserved printing make help this example stand out from the crowd. Powered by an automatic Swiss-made Caliber 58 movement and paired to its correct stainless steel 'beads-of-rice' bracelet with a DOXA-signed clasp, this Sharkhunter is ready for action. This example comes complete with its factory kit!
