To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911 Turbo, Porsche Design presents the Chronograph 1 – 50 Years 911 Turbo Edition. This limited edition honors the icon of automotive engineering and the success story of the 911 Turbo, which first captivated the world in 1974 with a turbocharged engine and its distinctive turbo design language.

The success story of the Chronograph I beg an with the same principles of precision and performance. Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche later summarized it as: “My goal was to design a watch for the 911 driver.” A goal he achieved uniquely with the Chronograph I.

With the new and strictly limited Chronograph 1 – 50 Years 911 Turbo Edition, we not only celebrate the anniversary of the unique 911 Turbo but also 50 years of “sports car on the wrist.” Various design elements unmistakably highlight the unique connection of this timepiece to the 1974 911 Turbo (G-model).
