The Reference 6217— also known as 62MAS (for autoMAtic Self-dater) — was designed to be a workhorse. It remains one of the most legendary and beloved divers in Seiko's catalog, and in the broader dive watch world. It is an icon of the Seiko dive watch collections, and led to many of the most famous diver models that later came in the 70s.

This particular Reference SJE093 is a limited edition reissue of the incredible 62MAS. Only 1965 examples were made, with the modern piece following the heritage form. 200 meters of water resistance, a beautiful 38mm case, gray dial, and lovely rotating bezel all make this watch one of the most capable divers on the market, and an complete must for lovers of heritage dive watch design.
