Over the past decade, Tudor has consistently delivered exceptional contemporary offerings.

Watches such as the Black Bay, Heritage Chronograph, and Pelagos collections have been flying off the shelves due to their impressive looks, sporty construction, and aggressive price points. But for sheer utility, sportiness, and integration of modern materials, it's the Pelagos that has us most impressed.

Although it draws inspiration from Tudor's back catalog of dive watches, the Pelagos brings a forward-thinking design to the tool watch arena. Constructed from titanium, this is the type of timepiece that a saturation diver would happily strap on while working hundreds of meters below the surface of the ocean.

This particular Pelagos features a 43mm titanium case, a sapphire crystal, a helium escape valve, a signed crown, and a unidirectional rotating dive timing bezel with a luminous black ceramic insert. It features a matte black with applied luminous indices, an outer minute track in white, a date window at 3 o'clock, and a matching 'snowflake' handset.

Paired to a titanium multi-link bracelet with a signed deployant clasp and dive extension feature, it's powered by the in-house, COSC-certified Tudor Calibre MT5612-U automatic movement with a 65-hour power reserve. Water resistant to a whopping 1000m, the Ultra will certainly outlast anything ... and anyone at that depth.

We can't overstate this enough: The Pelagos is one of the best dive watch designs of the 21st century - and very well the best in the Rolex family. It has become a modern classic, and it just takes taking it below the waves to see what we're talking about.
