WHY WE LOVE IT

Released in 1954, the Breitling Navitimer has been in production longer than any other sporting chronograph. Complex yet elegant, you're bound to get lost in the dial…

…which is probably not a good thing if you're a pilot using it to navigate while flying, but we digress. Over the decades, the Navitimer has seen countless variations that offer a wide range of design features, materials, complications and casing materials.

This particular Navitimer, a Navitimer 8 Chronograph, eschews the complex dial of the 1950s original with its myriad timing scales for a clean, highly legible triple-register chronograph layout. What’s more, this example is made of precious metals, elevating it from simple tool watch to beautiful statement piece.

Housed in a 43mm rose gold case with a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, dual barrel pushers, and a bi-directional timing bezel, it features a luminous, sunburst brown dial with applied Arabic indices, a triple-register chronograph layout with white sub registers, and a date window at 4:30. Powered by the automatic Breitling B01 chronograph movement, it comes paired to a signed, brown alligator leather strap with a rose gold pin buckle.

Representing one of the first releases from the George Kern-led Breitling era, this is an important model in Navitimer history, and a fantastic, highly refined watch from a beloved marque.

OVERALL CONDITION

The case is in outstanding condition overall showing faint signs of wear from gentle use. Luminous sunburst brown dial with applied rose gold 'Arabic' indices and white subsidiary registers is in as-new condition with matching handset. Signed crown.

Returns Policy

10-Day Returns For Timepieces:

Timepieces purchased online can be returned or exchanged within 10 days from when they are shipped or collected.

30-Day Returns For All Other Purchases:

All other online purchases can be returned or exchanged within 30 days from when they are shipped or collected.

On presentation of the original receipt, your purchases may be returned or exchanged at any of our store locations. Alternatively, you may elect shipping to our facility with all the original paperwork. All refunds must be credited to the same tender used for the original purchase. To return the online purchases through secure shipping service, please contact our client service team who will provide you the shipping label.

All returns or exchanges must be in new, unworn condition, with no scratches or markings, not sized or adjusted and in their original packaging and with warranty cards / certificated and instruction booklets.
